England cricket teams across all formats is a force to be reckoned with. With recent success in Tests under Ben Stokes and success in Pakistan, the England side looks poised for a tremendous time ahead.

Led by stand-in skipper Moeen Ali, England's T20I side won a closely contested seven-match series against Pakistan in their backyard after a gap of 17-long years. This was England's first T20I series win since the retirement of former captain Eoin Morgan, who led them to their maiden 50-overs World Cup title in 2019.

Morgan guided England to 42 wins, and 27 losses in T20Is.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja thanked the English side

"England have a very strong team. See, they have been the No.1 team for quite some time. They play smart cricket. Eoin Morgan developed their T20 flavor. They keep you in relentless pressure and Pakistan didn't let go of the match despite being under pressure."

England are due to play Australia in a short three-match T20I series ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, while Pakistan will be involved in a T20I tri-nation series involving hosts New Zealand and Bangladesh in preparation for the global event.
