England's second highest run-chase Vs India in Tests
Interestingly, this is not only the second highest chase at Headingley but also the second best chase by the England team against India in Tests.
Their previous best was 378 which came during the 2022 one-off Test match at Birmingham. That was the start of the Bazball era under Ben Stokes.
India achieve unwanted record
The Indian team led by Shubman Gill created an unwanted Test record on Tuesday. They became the first side in cricket history to lose a Test after registering five centuries.
Previously Australia in the 1928/29 Ashes series lost the MCG Test after making four centuries in the match.
Rishabh Pant scored two tons in the game, whereas Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul also scored their respective centuries but England triumphed in the 4th innings.
