In the ongoing first Test between India and Australia at the Optus Stadium in Perth, the visitors are in the driver's seat as, at the time of writing this article, they are leading by 142 runs. 

Notably, India, batting first, had a terrible start and tumbled for just 150 runs. However, the Indian bowlers were at their finest as captain Jasprit Bumrah took a five-wicket haul, and left the hosts stunned. 

Further, Harshit Rana took three wickets, and Mohammed Siraj's two scalps restricted Australia to just 104 runs. While the bowlers were on fire, the energy was electrifying in the field as all XI players were on their toes and cheering for the bowlers to stay in the game.

Meanwhile, a video has gone viral of Rishabh Pant cheering the Indian players behind the stump and, in particular, Washington Sundar. Pant can be heard telling Sundar to uplift his body language and maintain the electrifying atmosphere to create an impact in the match.

Rishabh Pant Set The Tone With The Bat In The First Innings

In the first innings, Pant proved why he loves playing against Australia as he performed on a challenging surface when other Indian batters struggled and got out early. Notably, Pant came to bat when India were 32/3 and they regularly lost wickets from the other end. 

However, Pant went onto score 37 (78), which featured three three fours and a solitary six that he hit off Pat Cummins. Rishabh's heroics helped India put 150 on the board.
