After defeating Australia in the ODI series, 2-1, the new looked Pakistan side will take on the hosts, Zimbabwe in a 3-match ODI series, starting on November 24, Sunday. The first match of the series will take place at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.

The team will also play an ODI match without Babar Azam, who has not been included in the squad for the Zimbabwe series. Under Mohammad Rizwan's leadership, Pakistan have taken an inexperienced but exciting squad for the Zimbabwe tour and they'll hope to come out on top, just like the Australian series.

Historically, Pakistan have dominated the Zimbabwe side and captain Rizwan will hope that the trend continues in the upcoming matches. Ahead of the 1st ODI, we look at Pakistan's probable 11 for the Zimbabwe clash.

No Babar, Rizwan to lead inexperienced batting lineup

Pakistan's former skipper, Babar has been given a break from this series, and as a result, he'll miss a great chance to get some runs under his belt before the Champions Trophy.

The reliable pair of Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique will open the batting, and Kamran Ghulam will replace Babar Azam at number 3, followed by captain Mohammad Rizwan. Another inexperienced player, Agha Salman will bat at 5, and Irfan Niazi will plat at the number 6 spot.

Pakistan have taken plethora of all-rounders in the side as Aamir Jamal, the right-arm pacer will bat at 7. He can chip in with the bat and Pakistan will hope he can deliver the goods.

Rauf, the leader of the bowling attack

Haris Rauf will have the responsibility to lead the bowling attack which lacks the cutting-edge. Mohammad Hasnain will form the bowling pair alongside Rauf, and Shahnawaz Dahani could be the third seamer.

The visitors could sprung a surprise and could add mystery spinner, Faisal Akram in the playing XI to test him against the Zimbabwe batters.
