Ishan Kishan started off IPL 2025 with a bang, hitting century in the very first game for SRH. However, since then, he has struggled for form, and that poor run continued against MI too, as he fell for just one from four balls. 

Ishan Kishan's Brain-Fade Moment Proves Disastrous For SRH

Ishan's wicket though turned out to be quite controversial. Deepak Chahar bowled it down the leg side, and the SRH batter tried to work it towards the leg side. The keeper, Rickelton, took the catch, but the bowler did not heard anything and did not even appeal. The umpire though raised the finger, and Ishan Kishan walked off the field. 

The replays though showed that there was no bat involved and Kishan's decision to not take the DRS turned out to be a big blunder. The decision of Ishan Kishan has taken fans by surprise, as the batters generally are inclined towards taking the DRS. There was no spike on snicko, and thus it is hard to imagine a batter not going for a DRS.


SRH's Batting Line-Up Crumble Against MI

Ishan Kishan did not even discuss the matter with his partner. Also, the umpire's decision to raise the finger, despite no convincing appeal has raised eyebrows. Ishan Kishan's wicket was not the end of misery for SRH, and they kept losing wickets to get reduce for 35-5 in the ninth over.

SRH have won just two games so far, while MI have won four games out of their eight. They have won their last three matches, and now look all set to make it four in a row.
