As the ball cleared the boundary, a local fan in the stands, drink in hand, reacted swiftly. He darted toward the ball and, with remarkable precision, caught it with his right hand.

The catch was met with cheers from the crowd, and it didn't go unnoticed by Collingwood, who took to social media to applaud the fan's effort.

Collingwood, known for his fielding prowess during his playing days, praised the fan's sharp reflexes and composure under pressure.

As for the match, England posted a total of 358 before being bowled out apart from Brook; Jamie Smith continued the brilliant knock and is batting at 72 off 97 deliveries, leaving Sri Lanka trailing by 112 runs.
