Durbar Rajshahi consigned table-toppers Rangpur Riders to their first defeat of the BPL 2024-25 season, doing so in match number 31 of the tournament at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Senior paceman Taskin Ahmed, however, delivered the opening breakthrough for the Rajshahi with the wicket of Irfan Sukkur in the first over of the run-chase, as the Riders had its top-order obliterated at 15-3.
