Another match, another chase, another bottled chase. Rajasthan Royals have entered an era of collapsing under pressure and fans are done being polite about it.

In their latest flop show, Rajasthan Royals failed to chase 206 against RCB, despite being in the driver’s seat for a good chunk of the innings. With this defeat, Rajasthan have now botched three chases in a row, all from winning positions. And the internet is not letting them off the hook this time.

To be honest, 194/9 while chasing 206 doesn’t look that bad on paper. But context is king and RR needed just 18 runs off the final 12 balls with 4 wickets in hand. What followed was a masterclass in chaos. From Dhruv Jurel’s dismissal to a flurry of wickets in the final overs, the collapse was rapid, ridiculous and rage-inducing.

Josh Hazlewood was the wrecking ball with 4/33 but Rajasthan made his job far easier than it should’ve been. This wasn’t a one-off. This was the third heartbreak in a row, and fans have had enough. Here’s the grim breakdown:

Riyan Parag, now leading the side, looked promising with a quickfire 22 off 10, but questions over his captaincy and decision-making have started to grow louder. And while Jurel’s 47 off 34 was solid, his dismissal at a crunch moment started the domino effect.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals are almost out of IPL 2025 as they have won just two of their nine matches. They will now take on Gujarat Titans in Match 47 on Monday, April 28 in Jaipur.
