Best Catch In The History! CSK Blood Nathan Ellis Takes Superhuman Catch In BBL

Nathan Ellis, the new Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star took one of the best catches in the history of the game during the BBL clash between the Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers. The catch could be termed as one of the best in the history of this game.

In the match between the two titans, Hobart batted first and posted 214/5, courtesy of a brilliant 68 off 34 from the dangerous Ben McDermott. In reply, the Strikers were in the contest as Matthew Short was going berserk, but a Nathan Ellis superb catch changed the course of the match.

Hurricanes bowler, Waqar Salamkheil bowled a tossed up ball as Short stepped down the track and miscued his slog. The ball took a top-edge as Nathan Ellis at mid-off tracked back and kept his eyes on the ball. He misjudged the ball, but kept his composure to grab a two-handed stunner as he fell on the ground.

Hurricanes win a thriller

Almost all the Hurricanes batters chipped in with the bat and apart from McDermott, RCB star, Tim David also scored a quick-fire 33 off 14 balls as the team reached a commanding total.

For most of the match, the Strikers were in the contest and were well on their course to achieve the target. However, the catch from Ellis changed the match as Short, the dangerous batter went back and the rest of the side couldn't keep up with the target and the Hurricanes won a thriller by 11 runs.
