Corbin Bosch is having a dream Test debut against Pakistan at the moment. The tearaway pacer who made a memorable debut in the ODIs, was given a place in the first Test against the Pakistan team, and it is fair to say that he didn't disappoint.

Bosch was expected to deliver the goods with the ball in the Boxing-Day Test, and while he did achieve that, it was with the bat that he stunned the Pakistan bowlers as he hammered a quick-fire fifty on his Test debut. His half-century came in 46 balls as Pakistan bowlers were pushed on the back-foot on Day 2.

Bosch came in when the Proteas were in a precarious situation as they lost quick wickets and Aiden Markram, the star with the bat also went back to the pavilion. Pakistan were in a pole position to dismiss the home side cheaply, but the debutant made sure that the side had taken a considerable lead.

In his brilliant knock, the bowler slammed 10 fours and had a strike-rate of above 100 as the Proteas player decimated the Pakistan bowlers with ease.

Shahzad, Naseem run riot for Pakistan

Khurram Shahzad started the early inroads on Day 1, and the good work was carried by Naseem Shah on Day 2. After 3 early wickets, South African batters, Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma forged a brief partnership before Bavuma departed.

Naseem then dismissed David Bedingham and Shahzad got the prized wicket of Aiden Markram for 89 as Pakistan could smell a big win, before Bosch decided to turn things around with his performance.
