Pakistan veteran Babar Azam had a dream outing in the recently concluded match against Zimbabwe in the T20I tri-series on home soil. Batting first, Pakistan posted a massive total of 195 runs, out of which Babar contributed 74, further solidifying his stature as the most legendary T20I batter the country has ever seen.

Babar Azam's 52-ball 74 helped the hosts set a daunting target for the visitors, as Pakistan eventually won the contest comfortably by 69 runs. As the Pakistan mainstay grabs the limelight with another impactful performance, here are three elite batting records which he attained following his game-changing knock.

Most runs and fifties for Pakistan vs Zimbabwe

Babar Azam had a torrid start to the T20I tri-series, managing only 16 runs in the first two games combined. However, his exploits in last night's match helped Babar surpass Ahmed Shehzad and become Pakistan's leading run-getter in T20Is against Zimbabwe.

Furthermore, this was Babar's fourth T20I fifty against the Chevrons. So, he went past Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez, becoming the Pakistan batter with the most T20I half-centuries against Zimbabwe.

Babar Azam's glorious 74-run knock in the Rawalpindi T20I against Zimbabwe helped him complete 1500 runs at home in the shortest format.
