The five-match Test series between England and India is at an interesting stage at Lord's. The series is levelled at 1-1, and both teams ended with exactly the same score at the end of their first innings in this third Test.

India could reach 387 courtesy of a century from KL Rahul and a brilliant 74 from Rishabh Pant. Interestingly, Pant suffered a finger injury on the opening day of the Test, and so there were doubts whether he would bat or not. He batted through the pain, though, and scored crucial runs.

However, Pant is not taking the risk of donning wicketkeeping gloves. Dhruv Jurel has been handling those duties since the time Rishabh Pant got injured. The youngster has done some neat work behind the stumps, and to appreciate his hard work, Dinesh Karthik came up with a cheeky remark during commentary on Day 4.

The former Indian wicketkeeper stated that Rishabh Pant should give a share of his match fees to the youngster Dhruv Jurel for delivering in his absence. It was just a remark made on a lighter note, but it could help Dhruv Jurel get some favour from Rishabh Pant after the Test.

More importantly, though, India need Rishabh Pant to be available to bat in the second innings as Dhruv Jurel is not allowed to do that according to rules. The match is evenly poised, and with conditions getting difficult for batting, India would probably need some aggressive batting from Rishabh Pant in the run chase.

Overall, both Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel have shown great commitment for the team at Lord's, and India would be hoping that they continue the good work.
