India have had several positives in the ongoing Test series against England, but the biggest of them has been KL Rahul, who is on a roll and piling up runs against the Three Lions. The 33-year-old has scored 336 runs in five innings, which includes two centuries.

Rahul's latest ton came on Saturday, July 12, as he smashed his second hundred at Lord's. KL became the second Indian after Dilip Vengsarkar to hit multiple centuries at the Home Of Cricket.

KL Rahul Credits F1 Experts For Consistency

In the latest events, Rahul broke his silence on his recent growth as a cricketer and how he became consistent with his knocks. KL credited working with F1 experts, which helped him improve his reflexes.

"I spent some time with an expert for some mental drills to improve my reaction times. Seen this in Formula One. Worked with coaches who work with F1 guys and adventure sports. That's the only thing that has been different. I always enjoy batting long hours. I have strived for consistency all my career. Happy that performances are coming through now," Rahul said at the press conference after Day 3.

Sanjay Manjrekar Welcomes The Change In KL Rahul

Recently, sports presenter Sanjay Manjrekar hailed Rahul's consistency and remarked that it was the only flaw in the 33-year-old's batting.

"It's something we know about KL Rahul, there are no obvious weaknesses, except for the little period he was uncertain outside off. Once he worked that out, you couldn't find a loophole in his batting, defence, or attack. The only issue he had was with carrying his form, and he has done that beautifully in this series. So, he has also corrected that one little flaw that he had," Manjrekar remarked speaking to ESPN Cricinfo.

Rahul loves playing against England as Rahul’s 100 at Lord’s lifted his career tally to 1608 runs in the SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia) countries. He now sits only behind Sunil Gavaskar (2464 runs), surpassing Sehwag (1574) and Vijay (1285).
