In the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy between Delhi and Manipur at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the Ayush Badoni-led side have scripted history as they have used all 11 bowlers against Manipur.

For the first time in T20 cricket, a team has used all 11 bowlers in a match. Notably, skipper Ayush Badoni, who also kept gloves behind the wickets, also rolled his arms. It is worth noting that Manipur, batting first, put 120/8 on the board after 20 overs.

Notably, Aayush Singh and Akhil Chaudhary opened the bowling and bowled two overs each. Harsh Tyagi, Divesh Rathi, and Mayank Rawat bowled the most overs (3 each) and took four wickets among themselves.

Skipper Ayush Badoni was next in line as he brought himself into the attack, and bowled two overs and got a single scalp. Meanwhile, Aryan Rana, Himmat Singh, Priyansh Arya, Yash Dhull, and Anuj Rawat also got one over each to bowl.

Delhi Having A Brilliant SMAT Season

In reply, Delhi registered a comfortable four wickets win as they chased down the target with nine balls to spare. Also, Delhi have now gone on the top of the table of group C with three wins in three matches.

This remarkable feat surpasses the previous record of a team using a maximum of nine bowlers in an innings. It is worth noting that Delhi are yet to be beaten in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and are playing well in the ongoing edition.
