Chasing 161 runs to win at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata, number three batter Gaurav Singh Chauhan headlined Strikers’ innings by sharing an unbroken 152-run partnership with opener Abhishek Bose from just 94 balls.
Gaurav clattered 11 fours and five huge sixes in his innings to smack 103* runs off 55 deliveries, recording the first ever Bengal Pro T20 League century in the process.

Gaurav Singh Chauhan has notched up the first ever century in the history of Bengal Pro T20 League by whacking 103* runs from just 55 balls against Servotech Siliguri Strikers. The blistering right-hander brought up his century with a winning hit against Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal in the 18th over of the Shrachi Rarh Tigers innings.

Chauhan crafted 152 runs for the second wicket with fellow unbeaten batter and half-centurion Abhishek Bose, who chipped in with 51* runs from 46 balls with seven fours.
Gaurav Singh Chauhan’s unbeaten century also set up Shrachi Rarh Tigers’ first win of the Bengal Pro T20 2025 season, doing so after suffering four straight defeats to crash out of the competition.
Nonetheless, the 30-year-old cricketer also rose to number four on the run-scoring charts of the season with his match-winning masterclass. With 198 runs from just six innings, Gaurav Singh Chauhan has maintained a healthy batting average of 39.60 and an attacking strike rate of 157.14.
