This brings us to to the end our live coverage of the match. However, there's another game today that starts in five minutes. Join us there and stay tuned to OneCricket.

7:24 PM | Sunrisers Hyderabad were never there in the chase. There was nothing for them to take out of the second innings, barring the last two overs that saw Abdul Samad and Umran Malik minimise the margin of their loss.

As for Rajasthan Royals, Trent Boult gave them an early edge with his double-wicket maiden, while Yuzvendra Chahal capitalised on it as his four-for handed the Royals a 72-run victory.

Rajasthan Royals win by 72 runs

Impact Player Navdeep Saini is not doing his team any favours with this hammering. Leaks 23 runs in the final over, however, it's RR, who still win by 72 runs.

The Jammu boys are showing their hitting prowess. After Samad flicks the ball for a six, Umran joins in on the fun and hammers another maximum. And it's a no-ball...

7:15 PM | Navdeep Saini to be bowl the final over of the match. SRH are at 108/8.

Umran Malik smashes a four and a six and reduces the deficit of an inevitable loss marginally.

Stat

Chahal becomes the leading wicket-taker among spinners in IPL. He also is the first Indian to take 300 T20 wickets.

Umran Malik walks out to the centre.

A googly and the ball goes straight through Bhuvneshwar's bat to hit the stumps. Fourth wicket for Chahal.

7:06 PM | Three over remain in the game. SRH are three wickets away from an all-out. The only question now is will they bat the whole 20 overs?

7:00 PM | Umpire signals for a strategic break.

6:55 PM | Third-umpire is checking for a stumping. It's not-out.

Aayush: This game is done and dusted. RR are the clear winners. Only a formality remains as SRH require 119 runs off five overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is in at no.9.

You cannot do that to Chahal, Rashid. Steps long way out of the crease. Chahal spins it away. His counterpart misses it completely and gets stumped.

Impact Players in the match

Rashid whips a full-toss on a free-hit for a four.

Navdeep Saini is in the attack. And he bowls two back-to-back no-balls. RR have reviewed against the second one. It's an unsuccessful attempt from their end.

That's some hit!!! Rashid comes down the pitch and clears the straight boundary.

RR brings in Navdeep Saini as their Impact Player. He comes in place of Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Adil Rashid walks out to bat for SRH.

Another one bites the dust. SRH's opener Agarwal walks back. Chahal bowls a googly as the batter fails to get all of it and gets taken at long-off.

6:27 PM | SRH need 156 runs off 10 overs with five wickets remaining.

SRH uses Abdul Samad as their Impact Player. He replaces Fazalhaq Farooqi.

Ravichandran gets among the wickets straightaway in his second spell. Phillips drives towards the cover region plays the shot straight to the fielder's hands.

Holder drops short again but Phillips get the timing right as the ball sails over for a six. It's the first maximum of the innings.

Glenn Phillips is SRH's no.6.

Time-out!

Another wicket for RR. Holder bowls short. Sundar pulls but could not find the connection and holes out near the in-field.

Aayush: Both teams have not introduced their Impact Players yet. While RR will bring in one of the bowlers, SRH are likely to use Abdul Samad, considering how their batters are performing.

Washington Sundar strides out to bat.

Brook is cleaned up. Chahal bowls a skidder. It turns back in and disturbs the woodwork.

Yuzvendra Chahal will bowl the seventh over.

6:04 PM | Just like the batting half, Rajasthan Royals have been the better team in the powerplay during the second innings as well. SRH have scored just 30 runs for the loss two wickets in six overs.

Agarwal sweeps from the off-stump and marks the end of the powerplay with a four.

Ravichandran Ashwin comes to the attack.

Aayush: Harry Brook is batting on five off 13 deliveries. He must press the accelerator now.

Agarwal shuffles to the leg-stump and frees his arms to hit the ball straight over the bowler for a four.

Jason Holder is brought in as the first-change bowler.

One bounce and into the boundary. Mayank Agarwal drives aerial as the ball races for a four at the extra-cover region.

Brook plays an uppish straight drive to score first boundary of the innings and get off the mark on his IPL debut.

KM Asif will bowl from the other end.

Aayush: Boult starts the innings with a  double-wicket maiden.

Harry Brook is in at no.4.

What a catch! Boult again brings out a yorker. Rahul Tripathi tries to guide it down to third-man. Jason Holder dives to grab the ball, completes a remarkable catch and celebrates with a roar.

5:38 PM | SRH have taken a review. The on-field decision is out. And it stays.

Rahul Tripathi is the new batter.

Trent Boult yorks Abhishek Sharma and hits the off-stump with an outswinging peach. Hyderabad are zero for one.

5:34 PM | We are back with the chase. Abhishek Sharma and Mayank Agarwal will open for SRH. Trent Boult to bowl the first over.

5:19 PM | Rajasthan Royals' top three went bonkers as their respective fifties set-up the team for humongous total. With RR at 122/1 at the halfway mark, even a 250 seemed possible with the way Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson were batting.

However, the innings could not quite get the finishing kick as Sunrisers Hyderabad also made a comeback on the back of T Natarajan and Fazalhaq Farooqi's two wickets.

Rajasthan Royals end the innings at 203/5

A length ball and Hetmyer gives it the right treatment. Smacks it down the ground for a four that also helps RR cross 200 runs.

5:13 PM | Third-umpire again comes in the thick of things as SRH are claiming a catch. It's not-out.

Four byes for Rajasthan Royals. Ravichandran Ashwin is their no.7.

Samson is a goner. Almost clears the deep mid-wicket but Abhishek Sharma takes a brilliant catch just inches away from the boundary.

5:08 PM | Third-umpire is checking for a catch. It's out.

5:06 PM | Samson ends the over with a four. 13 off it. RR are 186/4 at the end of the 18th.

Hetmyer breaks the shackles and plays a heave over deep mid-wicket to collect a biggie.

Aayush: Runs have dried up. RR were easily crossing the 200-run mark once but they are still 27 away from it with three overs to go.

Bhuvneshwar will bowl the 18th over.

Samson scores a 28-ball 50.

Shimron Hetmyer joins Samson.

SRH brings Natarajan back to the attack and he dismisses Parag on the first delivery of his second ball. The batter targets the leg-side boundary but an outgoing delivery catches the outside edge of his bat. He gets caught at short third-man.

4:53 PM | Umpire signals for a strategic time-out.

Rashid tosses it up in Samson's slot and picks it up for a massive six over long-off.

Aayush: Sending Padikkal over Parag was a surprise and with the former's struggles against pace well documented, that move did not make any sense.

What a start for Riyan Parag. Flats bat his first ball over covers for a four.

Devdutt Padikkal gets done with Umran Malik's pace. The speedster fires it on the stumps. Padikkal gets late on the shot as the bails fly in the air.

Samson takes on Sundar. The offie again goes a tad short. The RR skipper picks up the length and plays a pull to gather his third six of the innings.

Devdutt Padikkal walks in at no.4.

Farooqi takes his second wicket of the match. Digs in short. Jaiswal plays a pull with the toe end of his bat and gets caught at deep mid-wicket.

4:33 PM | SRH have taken a review for a caught-behind. It's not-out.

Farooqi comes up for his second spell and Jaiswal greets him with a boundary. Shuffles across to the leg-stumps and powers the ball to towards the long-off for a four.

The partnership between Jaiswal and Samson reaches 50-run mark.

Jaiswal gets to his fifty off 34 balls. Exquisite knock by the youngster.

Is it?

Sundar again bowl short. Samson goes on the back foot and clears the boundary with a nonchalant pull.

4:23 PM | Ten overs are done and Rajasthan Royals are at 122/1.

A top-edge by Samson but the pace of Umran Malik takes it over the boundary for a maximum.

Stand and deliver! Jaiswal did not uses his feet but still gets the power behind the shot. Smashes the ball to the cover point and add four more runs to the total.

4:18 PM | Finally, a quiet over. The most economical of the match so far. Adil Rashid concedes just five in it.

Sanju Samson goes fine. Plays an upper cut and follows that with a dab towards third-man to bring up back-to-back boundaries

Umran Malik is the new bowler.

Last ball of Adil Rashid's first over and Jaiswal cuts it between backward point and short third-man for a four.

4:03 PM | Utter domination from RR in the powerplay. They dictated terms all the way through it and scored 66 runs at the loss of one wicket.

Time-out!

Sanju Samson is the new batter.

Fazalhaq Farooqi is relieved as he outdoes Buttler with a nip-backer. Buttler misses the ball all ends up as it hits the stumps.

Aayush: This is the highest-ever powerplay score for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Earlier best was 81/1 was Chennai Super Kings.

A 20-ball fifty for Buttler. A four off an edge brings the milestone for the batter.

Buttler is murdering every bowler. Belts Natarajan. Goes square and accumulates four boundaries off the over. RR are 73/0 at the end of the fifth over.

T Natarajan comes in to the attack.

Sundar darts it on the leg stump and Jaiswal sweeps it for a four.

Washington Sundar receives a hammering. Bowls too short and Buttler rocks back to tonk two consecutive sixes on the leg-side.

Washington Sundar to bowl the fourth over of the innings.

Aayush: Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded  17 runs in his second over. The new ball did not do the magic.

Two-side onslaught this. Jaiswal matches Buttler and scores back-to-back boundaries to take the total to 37/0 after three overs.

Jos Buttler gets going. Bhuvneshwar keeps it full. The Englishman plays a flick with the angle and smashes first six of the match.

Jaiswal is dealing in boundaries. Flicks a length ball to the mid-wicket for another four. Then takes on the short-pitch delivery and attains the same result.

Yashasvi Jaiswal opens his account with a boundary. Just a gentle straight bat push proves to be enough for the ball to reach the boundary.

3:29 PM | RR openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal are out in the middle. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will start the proceedings for SRH. All set for the live action to start.

Aayush: Pretty to excited to watch Harry Brook. With no Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen, his role becomes all the more important.

But it's a new season and backing each player to come out good this year. I'm fully fit and ready to go. Always love wearing this jersey. Coming to Jaipur is a proud thing for us. We are fortunate to have a good combo. Internationals today are Jos, Hetty, Boult and Holder.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Sunrisers Hyderabad Skipper): We will bowl first. It's a good batting wicket. But it is an afternoon game and hence it's better to bowl. We will take the advantage of chasing. Toss Update

Sunrisers Hyderabad opt to bowl

Fantasy tips

The Harry Brook interview

Pitch Report (Sanjay Manjrekar): The pitch is more or less in the center. So I don't think there is going to be too much of an issue with the field dimensions. The outfield is beautiful. It's nice and green. The pitch looks like an English pitch. It's completely covered by dry grass. It looks white in color and it's black soil. So there won't be readymade turn for the spinners. There are a few cracks but it is very hard. Then you look at the stats at this venue, you can see some high-scoring games. It is always better if you are chasing. The spinners may get some assistance in the afternoon but the surface is pristine.

2:40 PM | Toss coming up in 20 minutes from now.

SRH vs RR: Head-to-head

The SRH vs RR rivalries may not have been the most discussed; however, these two have always had neck-to-neck in the IPL. Hyderabad and Rajasthan have played 16 matches against each other, with SRH winning 8 of them and RR bagging 8 wins.

Although, even after playing 3 matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the Royals still have to win a game against the SunRisers at the venue. Meanwhile, RR has a firm grip over the opponent in the last 5 IPL games, winning 3.

SRH, on the hand, have moved on from their old pale Kane Williamson and given the captain's hat to the South African dazzler Aiden Markram. Moreover, they have bought Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook, Glenn Phillips and whatnot to strengthen the force. With these couple of impactful players, the SunRisers look like one of the most daunting forces to reckon with.

Note: Markram won't be playing the opening fixture. Instead, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead the side in his absence.

Last season, Rajasthan emerged as the team to beat, with Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Yuzi Chahal, and Trent Boult all firing up big time. As a result, RR went to the finals of IPL 2022, but a hard day left them inches short of the trophy. However, this year, the Royals have worked on all the shortcomings in the auctions. And now they have Jason Holder coming in to bring that required balance to the team.

Another day and yet another big clash in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. On Saturday, we see two fiery contests, and Sunday will bring double the fun as it would first have SRH vs RR before the caravan moves to Bengaluru for RCB vs MI.

Hello and welcome to OneCricket's Live Blog of the fixture between SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), live from the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
