Rohit Paudel from Nepal took a Suryakumar Yadav-esque catch in the Canada Global T20 2024 League on Sunday during the match between Brampton Wolves and Toronto Nationals at the CAA Centre Brampton, Ontario. 

In the 15th over of the Brampton innings, Akhil Kumar tried taking total toll on a waist-high full toss by smashing it over the fence past deep cover. However, Paudel, stationed there near the ropes, took a replica of Suryakumar's grab from the 2024 T20 World Cup final.

Even the league deemed it as a catch that would make SKY proud by posting a video of it on social media.

Interestingly, on Monday, India completed one month of the historic triumph, and Surya commented on his famous catch taken in a tense situation.

Meanwhile, the Suryakumar Yadav-led India are in Sri Lanka for the T20I rubber, where they have taken an unassailable 2-nil lead by beating the hosts in all departments in the first two matches. 

Nevertheless, Paudel's team, Toronto, bagged an easy victory over Brampton in the GT20 2024 clash by eight wickets with 6.4 overs spare.
