GUJ-W vs BAN-W Head-to-head Stats

The Gujarat Giants and the Royal Challengers Bangalore have faced each other thrice in the Women's Premier League. Smriti Mandhana and company have been the dominant opponents with two wins.

These two teams last faced off in the fifth match of this edition. The Giants batted first in that game and managed to post only 107/7 in their 20 overs. RCB Chased down the target, losing only a couple of wickets in 12.3 overs. Smriti Mandhana played a brilliant knock of 43 from 27 and set up the chase for the team. GUJ-W vs BAN-W Fantasy Cricket Tips

Scenario: Gujarat Giants Heavy Fantasy XI

  • Barring Ashleigh Gardner, none of the Giants' team players has been in form. If you pick only one player from this team, then that should be Gardner.
  • The team's skipper, Beth Mooney, has been struggling with form in the tournament. The lack of runs from Mooney's bat has been one of the prime reasons for the team's underperformance in the tournament.

Scenarios: Royal Challengers Bangalore Heavy Fantasy XI

  • Smriti Mandhana is in fine form. She has played a couple of match-winning knocks and is currently the Orange Cap holder. Mandhana is a must-pick for this match.
  • The Australian all-rounder, Ellyse Perry, did not get off to a good start in the tournament with the bat. But in the last two games, Perry has been in good form. The fact that she can also be useful with the ball makes her an excellent choice for the game.

GUJ-W vs BAN-W Winner Predictions

The Royal Challengers Bangalore has been in good form in the tournament. Logically, they should pick up two points from the game. However, there must be one game where the Giants outperform their opponents. So, this could be well their day.

GUJ-W vs BAN-W Top Player Picks

Ashleigh Gardner has been the key player for the Gujarat Giants (Source: x.com)Ashleigh Gardner has been the key player for the Gujarat Giants (Source: x.com)

Ashleigh Gardner (GUJ-W)

The Australian all-rounder has been in decent form with both of her trades. Gardner has scored 92 runs and has picked up three wickets from four matches. She will be a must-pick from the Giants team.

Smriti Mandhana (BAN-W)

The RCB-skipper has been in brilliant touch in the tournament. Smriti Mandhana scored 219 runs in five innings and is the current Orange Cap holder of WPL 2024. The southpaw should be a must-pick for the game.

Sabbhineni Meghana (BAN-W)

The RCB team management promoted Meghana to the opening slot, and she did a great job. Meghana has been in decent form, and given her steady approach, she will be a good choice for the fantasy contests of the match.

Ellyse Perry (BAN-W)

The Australian superstar has picked up great form with the bat in the last two games. With two consecutive fifties under her belt, Ellyse Perry will be a very important choice for the match.

GUJ-W vs BAN-W Differential Picks

Phoebe Litchfield (GUJ-W)

The Giants recruited the Australian top-order batter, hoping she would be a game-changer in the top order. However, Litchfield has suffered from a lack of form throughout the tournament, and it is time she delivers for her team.

Sophie Devine (BAN-W)

The veteran Kiwi all-rounder has delivered with the ball but has failed to live up to the expectations with the bat. After watching the tactics of RCB in the last game, it feels like Devine will be batting in the middle-order. But she can change the complexion of any match with her big-hitting abilities and will be a differential choice for the game.

GUJ-W vs BAN-W Fantasy Expert Advice

Given the strength of the two teams, a 2-3-4-2 or a 1-3-3-4 combination will be ideal for the game.
