On Sunday, September 8, India star Shubman Gill is celebrating his 25th birthday. The right-hand batter is currently busy representing India A in the ongoing Duleep Trophy match against India B.

Gill, who is currently leading India A, has taken the internet by storm, as his fans and cricket fraternity took to social media platforms to extend their wishes to him on his special day. However, the one that stands out from the rest is Indian legend and Gill's mentor Yuvraj Singh.

Yuvraj has had a huge role in Gill's career, as the former India all-rounder, has helped Shubman with his technique and spent a good time with the youngster during his budding years. Meanwhile, Singh took to Instagram to share a sweet message for the birthday boy and also shared unseen footage of Gill dancing with Abhishek Sharma.

Navdeep Saini Spoils Gill's 25th birthday

Gill, who is playing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, got out cheaply in the 2nd innings, while chasing a small target of 275 runs. Navdeep Saini bowled a fuller-length ball, but an outside edge shortened his innings as  Rishabh Pant made no mistake. Gill fell for 21 (35). 

Even in the first innings, Saini got rid of Gill after he left an in-swinger that eventually rattled his off-stump, similar to how he got out in the WTC 2023 final.
