Indian superstar Virat Kohli was dipped in a major controversy when his name got linked to Bollywood actress Avneet Kaur. The entire controversy erupted after social media pointed out Kohli liked one of Avneet's photo from a fanpage on Instagram.

Reason For Virat Kohli's Clarification Revealed

The issue between Virat Kohli and Avneet Kaur's social media engagement became so viral that Kohli himself had to post on his Instagram account regarding the like that was made from his account as he faced severe backlash.

The RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) batter cleared the air that it was a mistake on the part of the algorithm that the post was liked from his account, and he never did that himself.

However, when looking at the original post that Kohli liked, there were some comments where his fans and social media users were in shock as to why the ace batter would like that image.

Additionally, some fans went sarcastic and went on to say that it could have been a mistake, while others pointed out that it was his wife Anushka Sharma's birthday, and that is when Kohli decided to like this picture of Avneet.

Adding to this, few of Kohli's fans were in disbelief, as one mentioned that he was officially "washed" while others questioned his intent and asked,"What is this behavior?"

Whereas one person went on to say that it could have been his son, Akaay who might have liked the image on his behalf, and asked the young boy to return the phone to his father, sarcastically.

Furthermore, there was another hilarious comment that asked Kohli to unlike the picture, as according to the person, they would not be able to defend him this time around.
