When Tamannaah Bhatia Shot Down Rumours Of Her Link-Up With Virat Kohli

Superstar Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is a happily married man now. The 34-year-old married the love of his life and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in the winter of 2017. Prior to that, Kohli was the most eligible bachelor in town, with rumours of his alleged link-ups with Bollywood actresses constant in the media.
Back in 2012, when Virat was on the brink of superstardom, he was linked to a superstar actress from the south, Tamannaah Bhatia.
The rumours were fueled after Virat and Bhatia shared the screen in a TV commercial advertisement. In an ad for a local mobile company, Virat repeatedly asks for Tamannaah's number on the pretext of losing his phone.

Years later, Tamannaah shot down the rumors after she revealed that the couple barely spoke during the shoot of the advertisement or after it.
"I wish, I wish people, they really have no clue. I think we spoke four words during the ad film, that’s it,” Bhatia was quoted as saying by FilmFare.
“After that, I’ve never met or spoken to Virat. But, I must say he was better than most of the actors we work with. And it was quite intimidating," she added.
Cut to 2023, and Virat is happily married and blessed with a baby girl, while Bhatia is currently dating actor Vijay Varma.
