Naseem Shah scored winning runs for Pakistan [X.com]
Pakistan remains one of the most unpredictable sides and nearly lived up to the reputation in the second One-Day International against Afghanistan on Thursday. Chasing 301, Pakistan ended up winning on the second-last ball of the game, with Naseem Shah once again being the hero.
However, what caught everyone's attention was a post from pacer Hasan Ali, who took to the social media platform 'X' and posted about how Pakistan would win, all while sharing his gut feeling.
Ali explained in his post how a four by the outside edge of the batter would result in Pakistan's win, and that prediction did come true. Facing Fazalhaq Farooqi, Shah edged the ball past the third-man region and ensured Pakistan's victory by one wicket over Afghanistan.
After Pakistan's win, the pacer ended up reposting his prediction with dancing emojis as well, captioning "Yahoooooooo".

Ali is not part of Pakistan's squad for ODIs against Afghanistan and Asia Cup 2023, having last featured for the nation in January 2023.
With this win, Pakistan have now gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-ODI series and will play the third and final match tomorrow as action will shift to Colombo.
Both teams will then fly off to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 and return to Sri Lanka for the tournament's second leg. The coveted Asia Cup 2023 begins on August 30.
