Shikhar Dhawan is one of the finest ODI openers to play for India and played a big role in India's Champions Trophy 2013 win. He has retired now and as India started their 2025 Champions Trophy campaign in Dubai, the star cricketer was seen watching the game live from the stands.

His interaction with the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli grabbed the limelight, but a girl sitting besides him during the game is also gaining lot of attention. There are speculations in the social media that the lady is his new girlfriend and plenty of questions has been asked about the relation between the two. Is Shikhar Dhawan Dating Irish Citizen Sophie Shine?

According to a report from Times of India and other media outlets, the lady besides Shikhar Dhawan was Sophie Shine. She is believed to be a Irish citizen and though her Instagram profile is private, Shikhar Dhawan follows her. She has 61 posts on her official Instagram ID and has 6330 followers.

The TOI report also stated that the Indian cricketer was hesitant to get pictured with the girl and according to India.com, Shikhar Dhawan was spotted with the same girl in November. Interestingly, Shikhar Dhawan was married to an Australian citizen Ayesha Mukherjee in the past and got divorced in 2023. 

In the recent interview, he was seen sharing his pain after separation with his child. Shikhar Dhawan was recently seen playing Nepal Premier League as well, but will not be seen in action in IPL and is likely to showcase his cricketing skills in various different leagues for legends around the world.
