Shikhar Dhawan, popular for his sportful persona on and off the field, recently participated in a hilarious Instagram reel that has gone viral, featuring his former India teammate Yuzvendra Chahal. The clip showcased Dhawan's comic timing and Chahal's unmissable cocky laugh, leading to laughter among fans.

Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan announced his retirement from international cricket earlier this year, thus bidding farewell to a noteworthy career. However, off the field, Dhawan stays connected to his fans through funny and catch Instagram reels.

Shikhar Dhawan's sense of humour is elite and he often entertains the fans with his quirky acting and laughter on social media. However, this time around, Dhawan was joined by his fellow counterpart Yuzvendra Chahal.

Yuzvendra Chahal's social media antics are similar to that of Shikhar Dhawan as he also posts humorous reels. The duo recently featured in a collaboration video where Dhawan was seen making fun of Chahal's cheeky laughter. The video is viral on social media with fans showering their love on Dhawan and Chahal's comic timing.

Professionally, Yuzvendra Chahal has been released by Rajasthan Royals at the retention deadline on October 31. The spinner will enter the IPL 2025 mega auction with RR in contention to buy him back for his market value. Regardless, for now, Chahal is enjoying his time off the field, hanging out with his close friends and family. 

Sanju Samson's say in retention led to Chahal's exit?

Rajasthan Royals (RR) head coach Rahul Dravid revealed that captain Sanju Samson largely influenced the retention process. He had a say on every retention and chose players as per his preference. Besides Yuzvendra Chahal, England captain Jos Buttler also failed to get retained and will enter the mega auction as a hot pick. RR retained Samson, Riyal Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shimron Hetmyer, and Sandeep Sharma. They have a remaining purse of INR 41 crores for the IPL 2025 mega auction.
