Shikhar Dhawan seems to have pounced on the popularity of a hilarious social media trend involving a certain ‘Pankhe Waale Baba’ of India. Quite recently, a video of a ‘Pankhe Waale Baba’, also known as ‘Fan Waale Baba’, has gone viral on social media where a man can be seen stopping a fan with his hand while sitting on the shoulders of three people.
Taking to his Instagram account, Dhawan uploaded a hilarious short video where he is seen replicating the same act.

On October 22, former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan took to his Instagram account and shared a short video where he is seen mimicking the recently-trending ‘Pankhe Waale Baba’. Much like the original video, Dhawan is also lifted by three people until he reaches the fan, only to apply its dust on his surrounding entourage.
Shikhar Dhawan recently captained the Gujarat Greats team in the 2024 Legends League Cricket (LLC) season. In his six batting appearances, the dashing left-hander scored 143 runs at an average of 23.83.
Earlier this year, Dhawan announced his retirement from international cricket upon getting repeatedly snubbed from the Indian team. The legendary opening batter last represented the Indian team back in December 2022 through an ODI match against Bangladesh in Chattogram.
A veteran of 34 Tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20Is, Shikhar Dhawan minted nearly 11,000 runs across all formats, and was an integral member of India’s 2013 Champions Trophy winning unit in England.
The 38-year-old also played a handful of matches for the Punjab Kings franchise in this year’s IPL 2024 season in India.
