Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) suffered a tough loss against Rajasthan Royals (RR), largely due to Jos Buttler's remarkable display of determination. Opening the innings, Buttler single-handedly chased down 224 runs, securing victory on the final ball of the innings. Despite losing wickets around him, Buttler's perseverance prevailed.

After the game, KKR players, including mentor Gambhir, felt disheartened. However, team owner Shah Rukh Khan stepped in with an uplifting speech to boost their morale.

Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of KKR, gathered the team who were visibly down after the loss. KKR had an impressive start, much like Rajasthan Royals in league both standing top at the table.

When the top two teams in the points table clashed, KKR had the upper hand for the majority of the game. However, it was Buttler's individual brilliance towards the end that turned the tide in favour of Rajasthan Royals.

This unexpected turn of events left the KKR players feeling disheartened despite their earlier dominance.

SRK, known for his charisma and confidence, noticed the team's dejection and stepped in to lift their morale with his encouraging words.

“There are days in our lives in sports, especially when we don’t deserve to lose and there are days we don’t deserve to win. But days are like that which turns things around. Today we didn’t deserve to lose all of us played extremely well. We have to be very proud of ourselves,” Shah Rukh Khan said.

Amidst the disappointment felt by the players, KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir, SRK's trusted lieutenant, was also visibly affected.

SRK, aware of Gambhir's emotional state, didn't want him to blame himself for the loss. With words of encouragement, SRK reassured Gambhir, saying, "GG, you don't need to feel down. We will all bounce back from this."

KKR will face RCB in the next game at KKR home Eden Gardens on coming Sunday.
