In a crucial encounter between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the second over of the innings witnessed a pivotal moment as Quinton de Kock departed, courtesy of a brilliant catch by Sunil Narine.

Vaibhav Arora, bowling for KKR, initiated the breakthrough with a well-directed delivery outside the off-stump. De Kock, attempting to drive through the off-side, failed to account for the movement off the pitch and could only manage a thick outside edge. The ball soared towards Narine, who positioned himself perfectly and grasped the chance with ease.

This dismissal marked a significant setback for LSG, as de Kock's departure ended a promising opening partnership early in the innings. The South African wicketkeeper-batsman, known for his explosive batting style, was expected to provide a solid foundation for his team. However, Arora's delivery and Narine's safe hands ensured that the momentum swung in KKR's favor in the early stages of the match.
