Former Indian and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni has been one of the most prominent names in world cricket, but apart from the game, Dhoni is known to be an avid bike and animal lover. Ahead of the 2025 season of the IPL, Dhoni was seen sharing a biscuit with a dog during their practice session.

MS Dhoni Feeds Stray Dog In Chennai

Dhoni, who is known to be one of the biggest animal lovers, with four dogs at his home in Ranchi, is known to be kind to animals outside his home as well.

The legendary Indian batter, who's prepping hard in Chennai before the beginning of the 18th season of the IPL, was seen sharing a biscuit with a stray dog during the training session at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Mahi offered the dog a piece of the biscuit, which the dog gracefully accepted and didn't take a second to grab the opportunity.

The moment was shared by Chennai Super Kings' official social media handle and has garnered views while going viral since on various platforms.

MS Dhoni To Return In Yellow As An Uncapped Player

The former CSK skipper, who stood down from his role ahead of the 2024 season after passing the baton to current skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, will now be playing as an uncapped player after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) rule of allowing players who have retired from international cricket more than five years ago to feature as uncapped players in the upcoming season. This allowed CSK to make use of this opportunity as they retained the beloved 'Thala' for just ₹4 Crores.

Whereas, for the upcoming season, the Chennai Super Kings will be opening their account against their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in Chennai on the 23rd of March, as their rivalry is set to be renewed for the 18th edition.
