All is well between Indian superstar Rishabh Pant and legendary Sunil Gavaskar as they appear together in a new advertisement for GoIbibo. Pant recreates Gavaskar's iconic "Stupid, Stupid, Stupid" rant in the new video as they pull each other's leg.

Rishabh Pant Hilariously Mimics Sunil Gavaskar

After getting heavily criticized by Sunil Gavaskar during India's tour of Australia in 2024-2025, where Rishabh Pant played a fancy shot only to be caught at the boundary line, caused much uproar, as Gavaskar, in his rant during his commentary stint with ABC Radio, went on to speak against Pant for his reckless shot, which cost India the game.

He called Pant "stupid" three consecutive times while mentioning that he should be going to the other dressing room. The internet was divided as Gavaskar's passionate rant was trending all over social media.

More than two months after the incident, in a new video released by GoIbibo, a travel booking platform, Rishabh Pant does a similar mimicry of Gavaskar, but this time, for not choosing the hotel correctly, for which he calls him "stupid" and asks the Indian legend to get on GoIbibo for the best prices.

The duo then share a hug and end the video with funny banter, sharing the iconic dialogue 'stupid' again as the video was captioned by Pant on his social media account on X as,

"Sunil Gavaskar Sir ke saath batting toh nahi, lekin acting ka chance mil gaya. Great last minute deal by GoIbibo."

This advertisement has been trending on social media, as there were said to be differences between the two, which now seem to be in thin air.
