Virat Kohli's much-awaited return to India from London following the birth of his second child 'Akaay' ahead of the IPL 2024 has also paved the way for legend's new hairstyle and look before he dominates opposition attacks in his comeback assignment.

The India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) great has unveiled a special new look after undergoing his latest haircut before the start of the fresh season of the IPL where his team kickstarts the campaign with an opening-day bout with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 22.

Despite being away from on-field duties since the middle of January when he entered a paternity break to be with his wife and film star Anushka Sharma, Kohli seems to have kept a check on his esteemed fitness standards, with the new hairstyle only enhancing his presence and fan appeal.

Kohli rejoined the RCB squad on Monday before resuming his practice duties ahead of the franchise's high-octane clash with the Super Kings in Chennai.

The legend had been away from the limelight and adhering to his family commitments following the birth of his little son but will soon be the main attraction when RCB embraces the Super Kings challenge.

The 35-year-old will be hoping for a bumper return, having missed out on truckload of runs by skipping the England series as he looked in tremendous touch when he last turned out with the bat against South Africa in December-January.

Notably, Kohli is only six runs away from joining an elite club of T20 batters to have scored 12,000 or more runs in the shortest format, a feat he should achieve with ease when he comes out firing against MS Dhoni's men.
