The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women lifted the WPL trophy on Sunday, March 17th at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. In the upcoming IPL 2024 season, their male counterparts, led by Faf du Plessis, will be looking to end their trophy drought. 

However, prior to the tournament kickoff, Royal Challengers Bangalore will host an unboxing ceremony. Scheduled for March 19th, Tuesday, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the event will feature former Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. 

There's speculation that Royal Challengers Bangalore might undergo a name change, possibly replacing Bangalore with Bengaluru in their name, ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024 season, and they may announce it during the Unbox event.
