Team India’s training sessions are usually intense, focused and full of hard work. But on Friday evening in Vadodara, Virat Kohli made sure there was also room for laughter.
In one such moment, the former India captain could be seen comically emulating Arshdeep Singh's running style in practice, and it became an instant hit on social media.
As the team prepared for the first ODI against New Zealand on January 11, Kohli appeared relaxed and in a cheerful mood.
Virat Kohli teases Arshdeep Singh during training sessions
During a break in training, he playfully imitated Arshdeep’s special running style, which made his teammates chuckle in delight.
He took big steps, spread his arms and mimicked Arshdeep to perfection. His hilarious act also left Rohit Sharma smiling.
Arshdeep, on the other hand, took the joke sportingly. He laughed along with Kohli as he exaggerated his actions, as if turning a usual practice session into a show.

These kinds of moments are essential during long tours and busy fixtures. They act as a relaxation and positive boost for the players, helping to enhance teamwork and team spirit.
Having a tough New Zealand side to play against in India, the good vibes within the camp are definitely going to help the side kick-start the series positively.
Upcoming series crucial for Kohli, Arshdeep
Both Virat Kohli and Arshdeep Singh are coming into the series in excellent form. Kohli recently played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Delhi and looked as sharp as ever.
In just two matches, he scored 208 runs, including a brilliant 131 against Andhra Pradesh.
Arshdeep also had a great outing in the domestic tournament. Representing Punjab, he picked up seven wickets in two matches and troubled batters with his swing and accuracy.
With form, fitness and fun all ticking the right boxes, Team India looks well-prepared for the ODI series.
