Venkatesh Iyer Meets WWE Superstar 'The Great Khali'; Shares Candid Picture

KKR's star all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer has been in Hyderabad for the WWE mega event. The photos and videos of  Indian all rounder Iyer interacting with WWE stars has surfaced on social media.

This year is turning to be great for Iyer. After a spectacular run in IPL for KKR, now he got to opportunity to get a glimpse of his childhood heroes. Much like many Indian kids, Iyer used to watch lot of WWE content on TV. His interest and love for the adventurous sports is unparalleled. So, this time when WWE Superstar Spectacle was announced to be organized in India, he didn't want to give it a miss. He flew down to Hyderabad for the spectacle show. The  second edition of this show saw some of the renowned stars taking the center stage. John Cena, Seth Rollins, Indu Sher, Imperium to name a few. 

Iyer's love for this sports came under spotlight when he spoke highly about The Undertaker  during a chat with BCCI on his India debut. Next year, before IPL 2022 started he received a special message from Seth Rollins himself who featured in yesterday's event. This year when Roman Reigns won the Wrestlemania 39, Venkatesh Iyer celebrated his victory. 

In the picture shared by Iyer himself, he was captured with Indian giant The Great Khali was also present for the WWE event. It seems Iyer is overjoyed to meet his childhood heroes up close and personal. 

Meanwhile on cricketing front, Iyer is slated to fly Hangzhou for the Asian Games 2023. This will be the first time Indian team's feature in this multi sports event. This side led by Ruturaj Gaikwad has Iyer as one of the stand-by players. Incase any injury happens, he will be drafted into the main squad. IPL's top performers are assembled for this event which will start from 23rd September.
