High-profile power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed daughter Vamika Kohli on 11 January 2021, four years after their blissful marriage in Italy.

In a hush-hush ceremony, Indian cricketer and then captain Virat Kohli tied the knot with longtime partner and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in 2017 in a destination wedding in Italy. 

Four years later, in 2021, the couple was blessed with a daughter whom they named Vamika. Anushka gave birth to the couple's first child in Mumbai, for which Kohli flew down from Australia, thus leaving the Border-Gavaskar mid-way. 

Having said that, the power couple has been extensively secretive when it comes to revealing details about Vamika's life. Virat and Anushka have time and again requested the media to stay at bay and not dwell in their daughter's personal space.

To this date, the couple has yet to reveal their daughter's face. They do not intend to let their child become a talking point for social media users.

Meanwhile, Vamika is set to turn three tomorrow, and coincidentally, Virat Kohli has opted out of the first T20 of the five-game series against Afghanistan, scheduled to commence on Thursday at Mohali, citing personal reasons.

It's speculated that Virat Kohli perhaps flew back home to celebrate his daughter's birthday and stay present at her big day.

However, these are just conjectures for now, and we await official confirmation.
