Star cricketer Smriti Mandhana lit up her Haldi ceremony with unmatched energy and joy, dancing alongside her teammates from the 'Women in Blue'. Dressed in stunning yellow outfits, the group turned the celebration into a vibrant, laughter-filled gathering.

Mandhana was joined on the dance floor by Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, Shreyanka Patil, Renuka Singh, Radha Yadav and Jemimah Rodrigues. All of them arrived in bright yellow to match the Haldi theme.

The Indian vice-captain looked beautiful, wearing a yellow embroidered suit with golden jewellery that complemented her outfit. She was glowing, and her eyes were sparkling with brightness. The star cricketer was also seen dancing with Palash Muchhal.

The celebration also became a warm reunion, especially with World Cup winners like Shafali, Radha, Richa Ghosh, Renuka and Jemimah coming together for the occasion. Shafali later shared a video from the Haldi, fondly captioning it "Ladki Wale."

From engagement reel to a dream proposal

Mandhana recently made her engagement public through a fun and playful Instagram reel that featured a choreographed dance with her teammates. The video, filled with cheerful moves and laughter, became an instant hit on social media.

The proposal itself was a memorable moment. Her fiancé, music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal, led her blindfolded to the centre of DY Patil Stadium, the same ground where India lifted the Women’s World Cup earlier this year. There, he went down on one knee and proposed. A day later, Palash shared a heartwarming video of the proposal, captioned "She said yes."

Wedding on November 23

With the Haldi ceremony setting off the celebrations, fans are eagerly waiting for the next events. Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal are set to marry on November 23. The adorable couple has reportedly dated for more than five years and then made their relationship public last year.

The joy, energy and togetherness at the Haldi have already made this wedding one to remember.
