India's young superstar Shubman Gill, who has had a torrid time in Australia with the bat, is getting his name involved in other matters that might be beyond his control. The right-hander who has stayed away from commenting on his personal life and relationships has been linked to another name.

Previously, he was quite often seen with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar, on many occasions, as both of them were also seen engaging with each other on social media. However, this time, the Indian cricketer has been associated with actress Ridhima Pandit, and the rumour was that they were set to marry each other in December 2024.

Ridhima Pandit Addresses Marriage Rumours With Shubman Gill

Addressing the media, Ridhima, who has featured in the film Sikandar Ka Muqaddar, clarified everything regarding the rumour and made it clear that she has not even met Shubman once. She further said that there is nothing between the two and has no idea how things reached here.

"I don't know what to say about it man? How is this thing not dying down? Maybe people like the idea of me and him together but I have never met him and all my best wishes to him. But samaj nai aaya bhai yeh uda kaha se and come December the wedding was to happen, aisa kuch hua nai hai. It's December but sorry to break your hearts but there is not much that is brewing there because I don't know the person."

Shubman Gill's Dismal Show With The Bat

In a total of five innings that he got to bat against Australia in the just concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Gill was only able to manage 93 runs at a disappointing average of 18.60 as he featured in three out of five games.

He was a part of the pink-ball Test in Adelaide, then in the Gabba Test at Brisbane and later, in the final match of the series in Sydney. Gill's numbers didn't help India's cause, as they lost the series by a margin of 3-1.
