India young pacer Arshdeep Singh is known not just for his impressive bowling but also for his funny and cheerful personality, which often keeps him in the spotlight.
Recently, his name came up again, this time during a podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia, where popular Punjabi actress and TV personality Shehnaaz Gill was a guest.
During the conversation, Ranveer asked Shehnaaz about the kind of man she would like to date. In a light-hearted moment, Shehnaaz responded in her typical straightforward style, saying she wasn’t sure why people were always in a rush to find a husband and joked that marriage might just complicate things.
Punjab singer describes Arshdeep Singh as 'cute'
The fun took another turn when Ranveer suggested Arshdeep Singh as a possible match for her. Hearing his name, Shehnaaz reacted with a smile. She called Arshdeep “cute” and said she liked his funny nature and confident personality, especially when he’s bowling on the field. Still joking, she added that his fast bowling might actually scare her. Laughing, she said,
“Ball marega mere sar pe bajega mere. Mere ko wapas se reply bhi nahi kar paungi usko,” meaning she would be too stunned to even respond if he bowled at her.
In the same podcast, Shehnaaz also addressed another long-running rumour, whether she is related to India captain Shubman Gill. Fans on social media often speculate about a possible family connection because both of them share the surname “Gill” and come from Punjab.
Shehnaaz finally put the rumour to rest by saying that if anything, they should be considered like brother and sister, and there is no real relation between them.
Notably, Shehnaaz Gill became a household name across India after her memorable participation in Bigg Boss 13. Since then, she has starred in several hit music videos and made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Her lively personality and honest responses continue to make her a favourite among fans, both on and off screen.
