In an important update, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially given No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several national players, allowing them to take part in different foreign cricket leagues.

This is a major shift, especially since the PCB had banned players in September from playing in any T20 leagues outside Pakistan.

Now, the restriction has been lifted, and many Pakistan cricketers are free to join popular leagues such as the Abu Dhabi T10, the ILT20 in Dubai, and Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL).

Several Pakistan players have received their NOCS

Notably, several Pakistan stars are already participating in the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League, with their NOCs valid until November 25. These players include Iftikhar Ahmed, Khawaja Nafay, Asif Ali, Salman Irshad, Mohammad Amir, Arafat Minhas, Irfan Khan, and Azam Khan.

A strong group of fast bowlers, Shahnawaz Dahani, Abbas Afridi, Akif Javed, Mir Hamza, Ubaid Shah, and Zaman Khan, are also part of the tournament.

For the upcoming ILT20 season in Dubai, which runs from December 2 to January 4, the PCB has cleared Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, and young rising star Hasan Nawaz to take part. Fans are especially excited to see Hasan Nawaz make his debut in an international league.

It is worth noting that some of Pakistan’s biggest names, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali, already received their NOCs earlier to play in the upcoming Big Bash League season.

Notably, the 15th edition of the BBL will start on December 14 and continue until January 25, 2026. The tournament will start with an interesting opening match between the Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers at Perth Stadium.
