Shehnaaz Gill reveals her admiration for Virat Kohli
The star actress recently revealed that she began watching cricket because of Virat Kohli. In a recent teaser of a podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahabadia on YouTube, Shehnaaz confessed that her love for the sport started after seeing Kohli’s performances for Team India.
“Maine cricket Virat Kohli ki wajah se hi start kiya tha dekhna (I started watching cricket because of Virat Kohli),” she said with a smile.
Shehnaaz further explained what drew her towards Kohli, praising his confidence and fighting spirit on the field.
“Kehlne ka style acha lagta hai, attitude acha lagta hai, jaise lad padta hai beech mein… Aura hai. Aise thodi puri duniya pasand karti hai Virat Kohli ko (I like his playing style, his attitude, and the way he fights in the middle. He has an aura — there’s a reason why the whole world loves Virat Kohli),” she added.
It is important to mention that this is not the first time Shehnaaz has spoken about her love for the Indian star. During an interview on the popular show Curly Tales, she was asked a fun question in a rapid-fire round: who she would date, hang out with, and ditch among Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya.
After some hesitation, the actress gave a cheeky response:
“Date, hang out and ditch -sab Virat Kohli ke saath (everything with Virat Kohli).”
