Shahid Kapoor's Reaction Goes Picked As Shubman Gill Assaults Madushanka

The ongoing game between India and Sri Lanka happening in Mumbai in the World Cup 2023 has garnered the attention of many stars including the Bollywood fraternity, apart from the cricketing icons. Meanwhile, superstar Shahid Kapoor was also seen attending the game, and his reaction to one of the moments has gone viral on social media.

It was during the 30th over of the first innings when youngster Shubman Gill was batting with Virat Kohli against Dilshan Madushanka as on the fourth delivery of the over, the former short-arm jabbed the left-arm pacer's short ball for a four over the deep mid-wicket area taking him to an individual score of 90.

This fabulous shot saw some thrilling reaction from the crowd, including Shahid, who reacted astonishingly as he was left in awe with that shot. Moreover, alongside him, couple Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali Khan were also seen applauding the fantastic shot from the bat of the right-hander.

However, his joy was short-lived as two balls later, he had to return to the pavilion after a brilliant delivery from the same bowler got his edge that was caught decently by the keeper and Sri Lankan skipper Kusal Mendis behind the stumps, ending his stay after a well-made 92.

India were forced to bat early, but they lost their captain, Rohit Sharma, early on the second delivery for four, which forced Kohli to come in early in the very first over. Both Gill and Kohli batted together to stitch 189 runs partnership for the second wicket, after which the former fell, and soon Virat lost his wicket, too, for 88.

By the time of writing, India were 255 for three after the end of 39 overs.
