Fresh off his maiden ODI century during the series decider vs South Africa, Yashasvi Jaiswal is on a short break before he gets back in action when New Zealand tours India in January for the ODI and T20I series. In the meantime, the explosive was seen in several media appearances, sharing his experiences from the recent success in white-ball cricket.

In one of the interviews, he sat with Vimal Kumar for Crex and made some exciting choices, upon being put in the spot to answer a rapid-fire. Check out how he answered the questions below.

Favourite food to the best super over partner: Jaiswal reveals choices in a rapid-fire

To give a little, imaginary sneak-peek into his life, the Indian opener revealed his hobby of cooking food, while also speaking about his Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening partner, the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi and several other teammates.

Vimal Kumar: One thing that fans don't know about you?

Yashasvi Jaiswal: I love cooking. Especially eggs, chai (tea), coffee, and sometimes meat as well.

Vimal: A word for teammate Vaibhav Suryavanshi?

Jaiswal: Youngster.

Vimal: Who sledges more: Australians or English?

Jaiswal: Australians.

Vimal: Who is your ideal super-over batting partner?

Jaiswal: Rohit bhai.

Vimal: A teammate you would give the nicknames 'Superman' and 'Spiderman'?

Jaiswal: Maybe Tilak [Superman] and Dhruv Jurel [Spiderman].

Vimal: Favourite non-Indian food?

Jaiswal: Fish and lamb chops.

With the South Africa ODI series done and dusted, Jaiswal is no longer expected to play any international match for the rest of the calendar year. However, he has informed the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) about his availability for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League stage, starting December 12.

Ahead of the second T20I vs SA, he is India's third leading run-scorer across formats in 2025, with 916 runs in 23 innings, averaging 41.63, behind Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill's 1736 and KL Rahul's 1180 runs.
