Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is all set to tie the knot with Priya Saroj, the youngest Member of Parliament and a rising political figure from the Samajwadi Party, according to reports by India TV News. The much-anticipated wedding is scheduled to be held on November 18 at the Hotel Taj in Varanasi. The wedding is expected to be attended by a host of political leaders, celebrities from the film industry.

The couple’s ring ceremony will take place on June 8 at a luxurious seven-star hotel in Lucknow, in the presence of close family members and friends. Sources close to both families indicate that the engagement will be a private affair, while the wedding will follow traditional customs and is expected to be a grand celebration.

It is important to note that speculations about the relationship between Rinku and Priya first surfaced in January 2025. But then Tufani Saroj, Priya’s father revealed that the two families had held 'meaningful talks' regarding a potential marriage alliance. 

However, at that time, he dismissed engagement rumours that were doing rounds in the media.

When And How Did Rinku Singh and Priya Meet?

According to Tufani Saroj, Priya and Rinku Singh met through a mutual friend, whose father is a cricketer. The two have known each other for a considerable time before deciding to formalise their relationship. 

Who is Priya Saroj?

Priya Saroj is the youngest woman MP in the Lok Sabha after winning from Machhlishahr, Uttar Pradesh, in the 2024 general elections. A lawyer by training, she has worked at the Supreme Court and holds a law degree from Amity University, Noida, after completing her undergraduate studies at Delhi University. She completed her schooling at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi.

Her father, Tufani Saroj, is a respected politician and has served as MP from Machhlishahr three times. He is currently a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Uttar Pradesh.
