The star batter delivered a spectacular unbeaten century, scoring 111 runs off just 63 balls, guiding Peshawar Zalmi to a commanding total of 201/5. Peshawar Zalmi secured a thrilling victory by 8 runs.

Acknowledging Babar Azam's outstanding performance, Javed Afridi, the chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, announced a generous gift for the captain. 

Afridi declared that Babar Azam would receive an MG HS Essence car as a token of appreciation for his masterful century.

With this century, Babar Azam now boasts a total of 11 centuries in T20 cricket, placing him second only to the legendary West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle, who holds 22 centuries in the shortest format of the game.
