Born on February 28, 1994, Safa Baig, the spouse of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, is the daughter of Saudi-based businessman Mirza Farooq Baig and has four siblings, including her younger sister Sidra, and three other sisters.
Safa completed her education at the International Indian School in Jeddah, before venturing into the modelling industry to pursue her dream career. She also exhibited artistic talent, developing her skill in nail painting from a very young age.
Her striking features graced the covers of numerous prestigious magazines in the Gulf region. Nevertheless, Safa's ambition did not stop there. She went on to become an executive editor at a PR firm in Jeddah.
A former model, Safa has impressed fans with her drop dead looks and has seemingly taken Pathan's heart as well.
Safa's marriage to Irfan Pathan surprised many fans in India. The two had been in a relationship for two years before tying the knot. Safa was 21 years old at the time, while Pathan was a decade her senior. Currently, Safa lives a largely private life and is mother to an 8-year-old son named Imran Khan Pathan, who was born on December 19, 2016, the same year the couple was married.

Pathan, meanwhile, had a remarkable career spanning from 2003 to 2012. Pathan made his international debut at 19 and quickly gained recognition for his prodigious swing and all-round abilities. He played pivotal roles in India's victories, including the 2007 ICC World Twenty20. In Tests, he achieved a memorable hat-trick against Pakistan in 2006.
