In an astonishing turn of events back in 2007, an unexpected incident involving the iconic Indian cricketer MS Dhoni took place. A fervent female fan ambushed him, planting a surprise kiss, during a moment that caught everyone off guard.

Haseena Nasreeb Shiuli, a resident of Berhampore in Murshidabad, accompanied by her friend Sweety, had embarked on an unwavering mission to support the Indian cricket team at the renowned Eden Gardens. Their devoted presence near the venue since May 2nd had not gone unnoticed, as they aimed to boost the morale of the Indian players.

Armed with a poster bearing the bold declaration "I love you," Shiuli had been passionately cheering for Dhoni over the preceding days, her admiration shining brightly. However, it was a seemingly routine moment as the team prepared to depart by bus after a rigorous morning practice session that turned into an unforgettable encounter. 

As Dhoni descended from the team bus to graciously fulfil Shiuli's request for an autograph, she seized the opportunity to embrace and kiss him. 

The breach of the security cordon and the spontaneity of her actions left everyone stunned, creating a scene that would be etched in the memory of those present.

Overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment, Shiuli's emotions overflowed, and tears streamed down her face. Her cries of "Dhoni, Dhoni" resonated through the air as security personnel swiftly intervened, whisking her away from the scene. 

In her vulnerable state, Shiuli conveyed her deep-seated attachment to Dhoni, revealing that her journey from Berhampore, a considerable distance of approximately 250 km from Kolkata, had been solely to catch a glimpse of her cricketing idol.

As the incident unfolded, Dhoni, known for his calm and composed demeanour, responded with empathy. He advised Shiuli to step back due to the presence of law enforcement, assuring her that he was there to support her.

While being escorted away, Shiuli continued to wave at the departing team bus, a blend of exhilaration and the weight of the unexpected encounter written across her face.
