Ahead of the series against Pakistan and India, Australian senior players, including captain Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, and Mitchell Marsh, participated in a fun quiz game that tested their Hindi and Urdu language skills. While Usman Khawaja had an easy win, Cummins and Maxwell struggled to get all the questions right.

Australia is set to feature in a white-ball series against Pakistan later this month followed by a 5-game extensive Test series against India. It's a busy season with all the senior players currently on rest to stay fit and rejuvenated for the upcoming series.

Meanwhile, the white-ball series against Pakistan is set to kick off from Monday with the visitors already assembled in Melbourne.

Australia players guess Hindi, Urdu slangs

On the other hand, Australian players also gathered for a team shoot ahead of the series and participated in a fun quiz. Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood were divided in teams and were asked to guess Hindi and Urdu translation of famous cricket slangs.

Usman Khawaja was playing a lone warrior and guessed every word correctly. However, Maxwell, Cummins, Hazlewood, and Marsh struggled and got a couple of them wrong. Maxwell credited his IPL experience as he got few answers right, but overall, the activity was fun.

Australia will participate in an ODI series against Pakistan from November 4 followed by a T20I series. Once that concludes, the first Test of the Border Gavaskar Series against India will kick off at Perth Stadium from November 22-26.
