For the third time in the Asia Cup 2025, India and Pakistan will collide against each other, and this time for the coveted title. In the group stage match, India defeated Pakistan in a one-sided battle, and the trend continued in the Super 4 as the Men in Blue once again dominated the Men in Green at the Dubai Stadium.
The finale is expected to be a riveting battle since Pakistan will enter the game on the back of two successive wins over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The ongoing Asia Cup has been marred by controversies, particularly with the events that have transpired between India and Pakistan off the cricket field.
YouTuber gives warning to India before Asia Cup final
The two teams have had fiery exchanges on the field and have been warned by the officials not to cross the line. However, it seems the YouTubers from Pakistan have decided to take matters into their hands, and one of the Pakistani YouTubers, Muhammad Furqan Bhatti, threatened the Indian team that if Pakistan win the Asia Cup, the officials might need to call extra security to protect the Indian players.
"Agar Pakistan Asia Cup jeet gaya to Cricket ke itihas me pehli baar post match presentation hogi jisme jitni security bula sakte ho bula lo."
Issues escalate between India and Pakistan
Even before the Asia Cup tournament, tension was at an all-time high due to the Pahalgam terror attack. After the group stage match, Suryakumar Yadav paid tribute to the terror attack victims, and this infuriated PCB as they reached the doors of the ICC to lodge a complaint against the match referee for not maintaining the Code of Conduct.
However, the ICC rejected the plea as Pakistan threatened to boycott the clash vs the UAE, but eventually took a U-turn. In the Super 4 clash, Sahibzada Farhan indirectly mocked the Indian fans with his AK-47 celebration, and Haris Rauf had a clash with the Indian openers as things escalated between the two sides.
