Yashasvi Jaiswal's antics were watch-worthy at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur although those were in a losing cause as Rajasthan failed to chase the mammoth total set by Punjab Kings while coming in to bat first.

Punjab Kings' owner and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta was seen congratulating Yashasvi Jaiswal for his fifty after the match. The conversation was caught in the cameras and Punjab's batter Shashank Singh was also present there.

Preity's Passionate Praise For Jaiswal

The left-hander, Yashasvi Jaiswal, played a significant knock for Rajasthan Royals though they failed to chase down the target in a tense finish on a sweltering evening at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Preity, who was present in the stands, took to the field after the match to congratulate Jaiswal and also praised the local fans for their incredible spirit in the heat.

"Literally, it was so hot! Par phir bhi, hats off to the Rajasthan crowd jo itni garmi mein bhi ake support kiye!" she said, acknowledging the relentless energy from the supporters. She added, "Dhruv batted so well," highlighting the fifty by Dhruv Jurel as well during the run chase.

Punjab Clinch Thrilling Win In Jaipur

Punjab Kings clinched a 10-run win over Rajasthan Royals in a high-scoring thriller in Jaipur, with over 400 runs scored in the match. Batting first, PBKS posted 219/5, thanks to Nehal Wadhera’s 70 and Shashank Singh’s unbeaten 59.

RR began well with a 76-run opening stand, but despite Yashasvi Jaiswal’s fiery start and Dhruv Jurel’s fighting fifty, they fell short at 209/8. Harpreet Brar starred with the ball, taking 3/22. The win took Punjab to 17 points, placing them second on the points table behind RCB due to net run-rate. Azmatullah Omarzai and Marco Jansen claimed two wickets each.
