Muzarabani’s recent performances in Test cricket have been outstanding, especially in Zimbabwe’s away series against Bangladesh in 2025. He became only the second Zimbabwean bowler to cross 700 rating points in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings, reaching a career-best 15th position with 705 points after a match-winning haul of 9 wickets for 122 runs in Sylhet.

His figures of 6/72 in the second innings were Zimbabwe’s second-best overseas innings bowling figures, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure. Muzarabani also equalled the national record for quickest to 50 Test wickets in just 11 matches.
