The IPL 2025 is up and running in style, and in the second match of the season, SRH are up against RR. The match is being played at the home turf of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, and the whole stadium is painted in Orange.

Fans Speculate Relation Between Kavya Maran And Venkatesh Daggubati

One of the dedicated fans in the stands is Venkatesh Daggubati, the Telugu Superstar and has been seen waving flag of SRH during the game. It has created speculations that he is connected to someway to the popular SRH owner, Kavya Maran. 

The MyKhel report though suggests that there is no familial relation between the two and most likely, Daggubati love for SRH is purely because of his passion for cricket and his state franchise.

However, both Kavya Maran and Venkatesh Daggubati are two reputed persons in the region and share mutual respect for each other. They also have been seen together in quite a few occasions, and Kavya's rise as a successful businesswoman has put her name along with the big celebrities.

Kavya Maran is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, the founder of Sun Group and has been successfully managing SRH for over a decade now. Her franchise was the runners-up of the 2024 edition, and they look a strong squad this year too, with plenty of superstars in their line-up.

In their opening game of IPL 2025, they came close to their own record of highest-ever total in the history of the tournament. Ishan Kishan smashed a century, and the Orange Army slammed 286 to put themselves in a driver's seat against helpless RR.
